One of nature's gentlemen. Always helping and interested in others. Rest in peace, Bernie.
Deepest heartfelt loss of uncle Bernie. We will always remember the good times & happiness we had with him and auntie Sally in Nottingham during past X'mas & new year. We enjoyed homemade X'mas turkey so much. Our kids remembered uncle Bernie taking them for a ride on his motor scooter, they are all grown up now. Thank you uncle Bernie. R.I.P
Bernie was a true Gentleman. Heaven has gained a new Star. Rest in peace and be proud that you are helping others going forwards. God bless you.
You always made me laugh. Much loved by everyone and sadly missed.
Meeting you for the first time, 35 years ago, seems like only yesterday. You have given us so many happy, fun and endearing memories, my friend. We shall all miss you very much.

We all have so many wonderful memories of playing with Bernie in the garden at Trinity Court in the early 90s, and he always had a story to tell when we visited him in more recent years. Lots of love,

A sad time for Sally, Ann family and friends. He made light of his personal troubles and was very generous to all he met.
